FROM COCOON TO BUTTERFLY
Recently, one of our Product Specialists came to us and requested a few Bombyx Mori silk cocoons for her daughter's class. Part of the Kindergarten classes' curriculum was learning how metamorphosis happens. The children got to see how the cocoons got out of their chrysalis and learned all about silkworms and butterflies.
This great photo is our Product Specialist's daughter, with a butterfly landing on her.
Needless to say, the silk cocoons were a huge hit. So much so, the teacher took the children on a field trip to see our Mulberry Silkâ„¢ duvets. Now all of the children are bugging their parents to get one... they have good taste!
